EMPTY ROOM

I found myself
in an empty room
hearing the sound
of my own thoughts,

as I breathe
in and out
filling the space
with unsaid doubts—

I try to scream it out
but the echoes are
just too loud,

as I hear my voice
speaking out
I immediately
covered my mouth.
