We all have that scar that bled and hurt us in the past. Well I do.
There is that one particular event in my life that really hurt me and it changed me forever. That event and that scar of mine is permanent, it’s a part of my life and I will carry it forever. Yes, it hurts from time to time like it’s a fresh wound but then I realized that this scar means something and for me it is an everyday reminder and motivation to move past that misery and to be better. Others stop and cry when they get hurt, they dwell on their sadness that eventually break them. Pain demands to be felt and it’s what makes you feel alive. It’s okay to take a minute to process and be sad for awhile but sooner or later you have to move on or else that sadness will eat you.
“Shit happens!” “Everything happens for a reason.”
MOVE ON!
Remember when you were a kid, when you fell, tripped or scratched your knees you cried right? Because you got hurt but eventually the pain faded away and it did not stopped you on playing and running again. Why is it so simple when we were younger? Anyways, that’s what I’ve realized this day because I was going on one of my moods again, the cloud of sadness is unfortunately revisiting.
Don’t let those wounds and scars stop you, don’t sit and cry forever because of a damn wound or scratch that is now a scar. Make that permanent scar as an everyday motivation and make a positive out of negative. Cheers!
This is such a great post. Thank you for the words of motivation. I know how easy it is to let our old wounds open up & consume is with sadness. You’re right we have to move on. I agree that it’s perfectly fine to feel sad, but we cannot dwell on it for too long.

Thank you.
Yes, those wounds feel like fresh and I actually hate when they open up but I learn to stitch it up again and again when it opens. 😊
Have a great one! 😊

Great post! Sorry you have this scar. But we all do. I guess the thing is that a scar shows pain that has healed. The mark reminds you, but it isn’t a gaping wound forever. Thank you for sharing and I agree it’s okay to feel pain, just don’t live in forever. 🙂

In my opinion, scars are lessons learned. I may have a bump or two. But emotionally, I’ve learned to take the “feelings” out of the picture. They don’t serve you once you’ve learned from them, and they are lessons learned. Admittedly, I may have a few more years, and quite a bit more experience. This I know for sure, if you want to move forward, you can’t allow yourself to get stuck in place. There’s so many wonderful moments in life. I say override the negative. Elect the positive candidates today!!!

Rightly said and beautifully put into words.
I too have a lot many scars and like they say ‘what doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger’ when ever I am reminded of them it only drives me to my passion and goal.
