The lights are out but my mind is completely wide awake, adjusting my vision in the darkness of the room I lie awake contemplating, reflecting and imagining.
THERE GOES MY MIND…
“Am I going to be successful?”
“I wonder what my life would be in 10 years.”
“Probably cool to have that kind of car.”
“New York and London!!!!”
“I’m going to buy that.”
“Why did I do that?”
“Why the heck did I say that?”
“Well, that was awkward.”
“What is happening in the world.”
“Hopefully the next president will be better.”
“He was lovely *heart eyes*.”
“One more year of school!!!”
“Lord, thank you for this day.”
“Lord, whatever your plan is for me I know it’s meant to happen.”
“Lord, when will I meet him?”
“Lord, just guide me.”
“Someday, I will do that.”
“Ughh, school tomorrow…”
“I have a quiz and report tomorrow.”
“I need to do this tomorrow and be more productive.”
“One more week and summer break!!!”
“Gosh, look at the time I need to sleep or else my eye bags are going to get worst.”

dozed off.
